my story.

I received my first camera at age seven. I loved it and that was the beginning of a life-long passion. My camera was a little Kodak Instamatic with cartridge film and a revolving flashbulb cube on top for light. I became the family photographer and my father was the home movie director. Henri Cartier-Bresson has said that your first 10,000 photographs are your worst and maybe he was right, although it’s the memories that last a lifetime.

Now I have progressed along the way and became more proficient at the craft. It is a long process to get where you want to be. It takes time and a great deal of learning but it is definitely worth the journey. My compositions using light, black and white or color, and mood hopefully speaks to the viewer to give a lasting impression.  My photographs bring a great deal of satisfaction to me and I hope you will enjoy them too!
